KIEV, March 23 ??“ Metinvest Group, a steel and mining group owned by wealthiest Ukrainian Rinat Akhmetov, plans to invest UAH 468 million in the development of Krasnodonvuhillia coal mine in 2007.

According to a press release of Metinvest Holding Ltd., the managing company of Metinvest Group, and Krasnodonvuhillia issued on Thursday, the coal company plans in 2007 to buy six coal-plough machines, 22 belt and 20 chain-and-flight conveyors, the 5?’??-15?? self-propelling car, over 400 linings, other machinery and equipment.
