KIEV, March 14 ??“ Nemiroff, a big Ukrainian vodka producer, invested $6.6 million into a project to protect its products against counterfeiting, the company reported Wednesday.

A red ring will appear on the bottle cap of genuine products when they are opened for the first time. The new protection system is being introduced this March, the company said.
