KIEV, March 11 ??“ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, one of the biggest lenders in Eastern Europe, will hold its 2008 annual meeting in Kiev, an EBRD banker Sunday.

Ihor Podolev, an EBRD executive director for Ukraine, said the decision has been approved following a letter from Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych inviting the meeting to Kiev. The decision will be officially announced in two months, he said.
