Yushchenko, in Chernivtsi, calls for greater cross-border trade with EU

KIEV, March 6 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko has said it is necessary to strengthen cross-border cooperation with the European Union.
The president was speaking in Chernivtsi on Tuesday at the opening of a council on stepping up trans-border cooperation.
The governors of Ukrainian regions bordering the European Union and representatives of the central executive authorities took part in the council.
