KIEV, March 6 - Ukrainian steel mills in January and February obtained licenses to ship to the European Union 343,962 tons of rolled steel, or 34.24% of the country's 2007 EU quota of nearly 1.005 million tons, the Economy Ministry reported.

A source in the ministry said that a new agreement for Ukrainian rolled steel supplies has not yet been signed between the European Union and Ukraine, and the 2007 quota will be 1.005 tons.
