WROCLAW, Feb. 26 - Ukraine supports the European Union's plans for a common energy policy and calls for a more-open approach to pro-western aspirations of nations in the oil-rich Caucasus region, Ukraine's ambassador to the EU, Roman Shpek said.
"When you have a common energy policy, then you can work with us on energy security," Shpek told Interfax Central Europe on the sidelines of the Europe-Ukraine Forum in Wroclaw. "Without a common energy policy, how can you have energy security?"
