KIEV, Feb. 26 ??“ Ukraine made progress in curbing human trafficking over the past several years, but more action is needed to resolve the problem, the International Organization for Migration said.

More than 100,000 citizens of Ukraine have fallen victim to human traffickers since 1991, the IOM reported. A survey conducted in 2006 shows that 85% of the victims were trafficked for subsequent labor exploitation.
