KIEV, Feb. 23 ??“ Interpipe plans to invest over $600 million in the building of an electric furnace steelmaking complex at its Nyzhniodniprovsky Pipe Plant in Dnipropetrovsk, according to an Interpipe report.

The contract for the building of this complex with Italy's Danieli, a steel-making equipment producer, is to be signed on February 26.

Earlier, Interpipe-management director Oleksandr Kirichko said that 80% of the funds for the projects would be funds attracted from foreign banks.
