KIEV, Feb. 21 ??“ The Ukrainian government on Wednesday lifted controversial restrictions on exports of feed grain amid reports that the four-month export ban had started to damage the quality of grain at elevators.

The United States and the European Union have persistently criticized the government of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych since the ban had been introduced on Oct. 11 2006.
