WARSAW, Feb. 19 - Italian UniCredit's Polish Bank Pekao will inject $50 million into UniCredit Bank Ukraine, the second such equity boost since mid-2006, Pekao said in a press release.

"Following the decision by Bank Pekao SA's supervisory board, the supervisory board of UniCredit Bank Ukraine decided another equity increase at the institution by $50 million," the Pekao release reads. "The board also decided on the merger of UniCredit Bank Ukraine with bank HVB Ukraine."
