MOSCOW, Feb. 12 - The involvement of Ukrainian companies in the extraction of natural gas in Russia won't entail lower prices for them, head of the Duma Energy, Transportation and Communications Committee Valery Yazev has said.

Even if Ukrainian companies start extracting gas in Russia they will be doing so through a Russian company and according to Russian law, which will not result in a lower price for gas, because in Russia gas is sold through a single export channel.
