KIEV, Feb. 8 ??“ Ukrainian insurance companies collected about UAH 13 billion in premiums in 2006, up from UAH 12.8 billion in 2005 and UAH 19.4 billion in 2004, according to the League of Ukrainian Insurance Companies.

As head of the league of Ukrainian insurance companies Oleksandr Filoniuk reported during a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday, these preliminary results were drafted by the league's specialists.
