KYIV, March 18 – Naftogaz Ukrainy has signed a contract for the supply of almost 100 million cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with the Polish oil concern ORLEN, the company said on Tuesday.
"Cooperation with ORLEN allows Ukraine to expand LNG import opportunities and increase energy security. We continue to work on diversifying supply sources to guarantee the reliability and availability of gas for the country. This is especially important in the context of constant Russian attacks on our gas infrastructure," said Roman Chumak, head of Naftogaz Group.
