KYIV, March 17 – Ukraine's natural gas consumption has significantly decreased this week due to warmer weather – by 30-35% compared to early March, former Energy Minister Olha Buslavets reported on Facebook on March 14.
"Daily gas consumption in Ukraine has recently not exceeded 65-70 million cubic meters per day due to rising temperatures, requiring withdrawals from underground storage (UGS) of up to 20 million cubic meters per day and imports of up to 10 million cubic meters per day," she wrote.
