KYIV, March 5 – Recent attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure have significantly undermined the stability of external power supply to nuclear facilities, according to a statement presented by Ukraine's delegation during the March 3, 2025, IAEA Board of Governors meeting.
"The findings of the IAEA expert mission at electrical substations critical to nuclear safety highlight that many substations, essential for the reliable power supply of nuclear power plants, have suffered severe damage due to missile and drone attacks," states a document released Tuesday by Ukraine's State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate.
