KYIV, Feb 27 – Over the past three years, ArcelorMittal has provided $1 billion in support to its Ukrainian subsidiary, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR, Dnipropetrovsk region), CEO Mauro Longobardo announced.
According to him, since the beginning of the war, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has allocated more than UAH 710 million in charitable aid.
"Our main goal in 2024 was to continue operating despite all the challenges so that we could pay taxes and support local communities. We achieved this largely thanks to the backing of our parent company. Over the past three years, the group has supported us with more than $1 billion, including $0.3 billion in capital investments," the CEO stated, as quoted by the company's press service.
