KYIV, Feb 27 – McDonald's Ukraine Ltd., which operates the McDonald's fast-food chain in Ukraine, invested UAH 1.8 billion in the construction and modernization of its Ukrainian restaurants in 2024, the company's press service reported.
According to a press release, last year McDonald's opened eight new restaurants in Ukraine and renovated three existing locations. As part of its expansion strategy, the company focused on major cities and their suburbs, regional centers, and key highways. New locations were launched in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Vinnytsia, while the first-ever McDonald's restaurants opened in Chernivtsi, Boyarka, and Kovel. Seven out of the eight new restaurants were standalone buildings, while one was located inside a shopping mall.
