KYIV, Feb 26 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the agreement with the U.S. on rare earth minerals takes into account Ukraine's European integration priorities and its cooperation with international financial institutions (IFIs).

"Of course, we have discussed this with our European partners, particularly during the visit of the European Commission's college to Ukraine. We held discussions with the President of the European Commission and EU Commissioners regarding our approach to cooperation with the United States. The United States recognizes the priority of European integration for Ukraine. This agreement takes into consideration our European integration interests as well as our cooperation with financial institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank," Shmyhal said during a national telethon on Wednesday.
