Russian attacks target natural gas assets, Naftogaz says
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Feb 21 – The situation with natural gas in Ukraine, impacted by Russian attacks, remains challenging but not critical and is fully under control, according to Naftogaz Group CEO Roman Chumak. He made this statement during a meeting with the leadership of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Ukraine, headed by Gavin Gray.

"We are in full control of the situation. Yes, it is challenging, but not critical. Naftogaz continues to import the necessary volumes of gas to balance the system and meet the needs of all consumer groups," Chumak stated, as quoted on the company's website.
