KIEV, Feb. 1 ??“ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is to issue a $150 million credit to Alchevsk Steel Mill for cogeneration plant construction, the bank reported on Thursday.

The EBRD issues a credit, worth $150 million to Ecoenergy, a special project company owned by Industrial Union of Donbas industrial group (IUD) and Alchevsk. Calyon Bank has agreed to syndicate a part of the credit, worth $50 million, the press release reads.
