KYIV, Feb 18 – Kyiv and Ankara are committed to expanding bilateral trade, setting an ambitious goal to increase mutual trade turnover by more than 1.5 times – from $6.2 billion in 2024 to $10 billion. This was announced by Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, following a meeting with Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.
"Last year, Ukraine's exports to Türkiye amounted to $2 billion, while the total trade volume between our countries reached $6.2 billion. Our common goal is to push this figure to $10 billion, primarily by expanding the already significant trade in agricultural products, as well as other sectors," Svyrydenko wrote on social media platform X from Ankara.
