KYIV, Feb 13 – The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) imposed sanctions against Petro Poroshenko, leader of the European Solidarity party, citing his alleged involvement in the so-called "coal case," his role in the preparation of the Kharkiv Agreements, and business ties with Russia through the Roshen factory, a government source told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The sanctions against Poroshenko were introduced at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers," the source stated.
