KYIV, Feb 6 – Nestlé plans to invest UAH 8 billion in commercial operations in Ukraine in 2025, focusing on product promotion in retail chains, and an additional UAH 1.5 billion to modernize its plants to improve product quality, said Alessandro Zanelli, CEO of Nestlé Ukraine, South and Eastern Europe.
"Consumer goods will continue to grow until 2025. However, there will be significant pressure on margins by then. We can’t pass all the costs onto consumers since the country is already facing high inflation. We need to work on creating the right narrative for our business model," Zanelli stated during the Global Outlook Enduring Change! event organized by the European Business Association.
