KYIV, Feb 4 - Naftogaz Group urgently purchased about 150 million cubic meters of gas in the EU for February at UAH 28,000/thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT), said former head of GTSOU Serhiy Makogon.

"Naftogaz, which assured that it would get through the winter without imports, urgently purchased about 150 million cubic meters of gas in the EU for February. This is positive news, because without imports, the risks of a stable winter increase significantly. The negative news is that the price at which Naftogaz bought from foreign traders was approximately UAH 28,000H/thousand cubic meters excluding VAT," he wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.
