KYIV, Jan 29 – Consultations with European colleagues on the substitution of U.S. aid have started at the parliamentary level, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy has said on Wednesday.

"Consultations with European colleagues have already been launched at the parliamentary level on the possible substitution of U.S. aid, at least for the time until final decisions are made in Washington," it said in a statement on the suspension of funding for projects and programs in Ukraine by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), published on the Verkhovna Rada website.
