BRUSSELS, Jan. 31 ??“ The Ukrainian government is to introduce a system of auctions for sales of electricity to Europe, Vice Premier Andriy Kliuyev told journalists in Brussels on Monday.

"We are working on organizing such auctions. It is [to be] a transparent mechanism, which would eliminate any possible abuses. The transition to such a system is beneficial for Ukraine and for the European countries that import our electricity," the official reported.
