KYIV, Jan 22 - First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, following a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and heads of large companies, assured that they are focused and optimistic about the end of the war in Ukraine or the end of its active phase in 2025.

"I just came back from a meeting where they talked about new investments of EUR450 million. This means that we are moving forward and there are discussions about Ukraine... Well, and we can say regarding this meeting of President Zelenskyy and the heads of large companies that everyone is very focused, very optimistic that the war will end this year, at least the active phase of the war," she said at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Wednesday.
