KYIV, Jan 6 – The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Plant (HPP) has caused an estimated $14 billion in damage, according to Svitlana Grynchuk, Ukraine's Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

"In monetary terms, the damage caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka dam and the loss of these water resources amounts to nearly $14 billion," Hrynchuk stated in an interview with the Rada TV channel.
