KYIV, Jan 6 – The refarming process, during which Ukrainian mobile operators will shut down 3G networks to increase 4G capacity, is expected to conclude in 2025.
"Mobile operators will begin turning off their 3G networks this year to free up resources for 4G and provide faster, better services," announced the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radiofrequency Spectrum and the Provision of Postal Services (NCEC) on Facebook on January 3.
