KYIV, Jan 3 – Ukraine's economy grew moderately in 2024, achieving a 3.8% increase in GDP. Real GDP growth in 2025 is projected to be around 3%, according to the annual report by the Monthly Economic Monitoring Ukraine team at the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).
"Growth in metallurgy and iron ore mining was supported by access to the Ukrainian maritime corridor. Agricultural companies continued exporting via sea and rail, with improved logistics compared to 2023 driving export growth," the IER said.
