KYIV, Dec 23 - JSC Energoatom is carrying out preparatory work to submit an application for the extension of the operation of the second unit of Pivdennoukrainsk NPP, the company reported on Telegram on Monday.

"Energoatom has a successful example of such a procedure in November 2023, when the operating life of power unit No. 1 of Pivdennoukrainsk NPP was extended by 10 years without a long shutdown of the reactor," the company noted.
