KYIV, Dec 23 – The International Monetary Fund has confirmed its forecast from a month ago about Ukraine's GDP growth this year by 4% and its slowdown to 2.5-3.5% next year.
As stated in the fund's publication following the approval of the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program on Friday, compared to the fifth review two months ago, the estimate of nominal GDP this year has been improved by UAH 87 billion - to UAH 7.629 trillion, and next year - by UAH 138 billion, to UAH 8.68 trillion.
