KYIV, Dec 20 – Norway will contribute GBP 186 million (about NOK 2.6 billion or $232.5 million) as its contribution to aid to Ukraine. The funding will provide much-needed military equipment through the International Fund for Ukraine, the Norwegian government press service said.
The package includes GBP 92 million for equipment to strengthen the Ukrainian Navy, including small boats, reconnaissance drones, unmanned surface vessels, loitering munitions and mine countermeasure drones. This support is part of a maritime coalition jointly led by the UK and Norway.
