KYIV, Dec 20 – From January 1, 2025, the Ukrainian GTS will be able to transport only non-Russian gas, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during the "Question Hour to the Government" in the Verkhovna Rada, which was broadcast via YouTube by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko on Friday.

"The gas transit agreement expires on January 1, 2025, at 07:00 transit will be physically blocked, and the restoration of transit will only be possible if, at the request of the European Commission, we transport non-Russian gas through our system," he said.
