KYIV, Dec 16 – Ukraine may see the launch of new wind generation projects totaling approximately 4 GW by the end of 2025, a capacity equivalent to the current deficit in the country's power system, according to Olha Rybachuk, Managing Director of UK-based Elementum Energy.
"As of today, about 4 GW of wind capacity – equal to the full deficit in Ukraine's Integrated Power System – are projects ready to commence construction either this year or by the end of next year," Rybachuk stated at the Get Festival Business event on December 12 in Kyiv.
