KYIV, Dec 11 – The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine expects that in the near future Ukraine will receive a power unit from the Estonian Auvere power plant, capable of providing electricity to 150,000 people, the department reported on Wednesday.
"The transfer of two more power units to Ukraine in 2025 is also being discussed," the Ministry of Energy noted.
According to the department, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk and Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michal visited one of the energy facilities of Ukraine, destroyed by targeted Russian attacks. Kolisnyk acquainted the Estonian delegation with the consequences of the shelling, as well as the current challenges and needs of the energy sector.
