KYIV, Dec 11 – The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has increased its forecast for Ukrainian wheat exports in the 2024/2025 marketing year (July 2024 to June 2025) by 0.5 million tons to 16.5 million tons and revised the country’s corn production estimate upward by 0.3 million tons to 26.5 million tons.
According to the USDA's October report, released Tuesday evening, Ukraine's wheat harvest estimate remains unchanged at 22.9 million tons. However, the export forecast was raised to 16.5 million tons, and ending stocks were reduced by 0.2 million tons to 0.79 million tons.
