KYIV, Dec 4 – Stopping transit of Russian gas through Ukraine from January 1 is becoming a reality, said Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak.

"What seemed impossible a few years ago is becoming a reality. From January 1, everything indicates that transit [of gas from Russia] will stop," Andarak said during an online speech at a thematic event of DiXi Group in Kyiv on Wednesday, an Energy Reform correspondent reports from the scene.
