KYIV, Dec 3 – Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, which mid-year downgraded its 2024 economic growth forecast from 4.6% to 3.5%, has revised it upward to 3.9%, according to Valeria Voitenko, a representative of the Ministry. She shared this update during a discussion organized by the Centre for Economic Strategy in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"In November, we revised our expectations for 2024. We raised the GDP growth forecast to 3.9% and inflation to 9.5%. However, the key figures for 2025 remain unchanged from the June forecast, as the key assumptions and trends have not shifted: GDP growth at 2.7% and inflation at 9.5%," Voitenko said, as reported by an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.
