KYIV, Dec 2 – The European Union will allocate an additional EUR 4.2 billion to Ukraine's budget in December of this year. Starting in January 2025, the EU plans to provide EUR 1.5 billion in monthly aid, European Council President Antonio Costa stated.
"This month, the European Union will provide Ukraine with an additional EUR 4.2 billion for budgetary support. Additionally, starting next month, we plan to deliver EUR 1.5 billion in monthly aid throughout the year," Costa said at a press conference in Kyiv on Sunday after his meeting with President Zelenskyy.
