KYIV, Nov 27 – The Zaporizhstal Metallurgical Plant, located in Ukraine, Zaporizhia region, has carried out comprehensive overhauls of its main rolling production units as part of its annual capital investment program.

According to the company's press release on Wednesday, the cost of these overhauls exceeded UAH 230 million.

For two weeks, round-the-clock repairs were conducted in the hot rolling and cold rolling mills, including major upgrades to the BTL-1680 and Slabbing-1150 mills, as well as the continuous pickling unit. Engineering service specialists from companies such as Etalonstroyservice, Galaktika, Erbau Group, Promenergospecmontazh, Engineering-Service, Kryvorizhpromtekhservice, and Electroremont were involved in this large-scale modernization effort.
