KYIV, Nov 20 – The state budget law for 2025, adopted by Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, projects a reduction in the budget deficit from 24.2% of GDP in 2024 (UAH 1.846 trillion) to 19.4% of GDP (UAH 1.64 trillion), according to the Ministry of Finance website.

The public debt is expected to grow in nominal terms but decrease relative to GDP, from UAH 7.68 trillion (100.5% of GDP) in 2024 to UAH 8.21 trillion (97% of GDP).
