KIEV, Jan. 29 ??“ EnergoAtom, Ukraine??™s state nuclear power generator, plans to tighten safety at the country??™s nuclear power plants, Andriy Derkach, EnergoAtom President, said.

"I want to confirm once more that the company's leadership is guided by safety principles??¦ We are working on programs to increase safety [at NPPs], and I think that we will extend and tighten requirements," Derkach said at a recent meeting of industry executives.
