KYIV, Nov 8 - The World Bank board has approved a new systemic project in Ukraine, Supporting Reconstruction through Smart Fiscal Governance (SURGE), with a planned total volume of approximately $750 million at the approval stage for 2024-2027.

"The reforms within the project are aimed at improving the efficiency of public investment and public finance management. If necessary, funding can be increased," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
