KYIV, Oct 30 – Since 2022, Ukraine's largest mobile operator, Kyivstar, has invested over UAH 1.9 billion in its network's energy independence and has launched a second phase of investment. This phase includes the installation of new batteries at base stations and industrial-grade generators.
"Kyivstar, Ukraine's largest electronic communications provider, continues ramping up investments to secure energy independence. Since 2022, the total investment directed toward keeping the network operational during potential power outages has surpassed UAH 1.9 billion," Kyivstar's press service announced on Wednesday.
