KYIV, Oct 23 – Ukraine's delegation, led by Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy, expressed gratitude to IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva for the Fund's decision to increase the number of tranches and total financing for Ukraine in 2025 under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
"Now, the IMF EFF allocates up to $2.7 billion for 2025 following four reviews, up from the initial $1.8 billion planned after two reviews," the Ministry of Finance reported on Wednesday following a meeting in Washington, held during the IMF and World Bank's annual gatherings.
