KYIV, Oct 17 – In the war with Russia, Ukraine is not facing Russia itself, but a coalition of powerful countries that will only get stronger, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said, commenting on the Victory Plan presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"The West should have seen this big threat after 2022 from China, Iran and North Korea, and they should have developed a plan to protect their democratic institutions. Was it done by those people who are concerned about global security? (...) Let's be honest, maybe not (...) And what President Zelenskyy is doing is preparing this plan, when steps are being developed, and not only for Ukraine," Zaluzhny said, answering journalists' questions after a speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).
