KYIV, Oct 16 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha has announced "specific agreements" on the strengthening of Ukraine's energy resilience following his talks with the Nordic-Baltic Eight counterparts (NB8: Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Estonia).
"There are specific agreements on the results of the negotiations. Additional packages of energy assistance for the strengthening of resilience ahead of the winter. I thank you for these important decisions. We also discussed further strengthening of Ukraine's defense capability, reinforcement of the air shield, investment in our defense industry," he told a joint press conference with the NB8 foreign ministers in Odesa on Wednesday.
