KYIV, Oct 15 – France will be able to provide Ukraine with military assistance worth "over EUR 2 billion", and not EUR 3 billion as it was pledged earlier, due to a budget deficit, Defense Minister of France Sébastien Lecornu has said on Tuesday.
"France will fall short of its pledge to donate up to EUR 3 billion in military aid to Ukraine this year and is only on track for "above EUR 2 billion," Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu told lawmakers on Monday," Politico reported.
