KYIV, Oct 7 – Ukraine and Slovakia have agreed to create an Eastern European energy hub, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
"Ukraine has once again emphasized that it will not extend the transit agreement with Russia upon its expiration. Ukraine’s strategic goal is to impose sanctions on the russian gas molecule, depriving the kremlin of the profits from the sale of hydrocarbons, which the aggressor uses to finance the war. We call on all European countries to completely abandon oil and gas from russia," Shmyhal told journalists following the second intergovernmental consultations with Slovakia on Monday.
